In June 2007, the Board of Directors of SEAofAR voted to adopt the attached special inspection program as a draft for the SEAofAR based on the program developed by SEAofAL. The process to adopt the draft and make the document a guideline for the SEAofAR is as follows:

1. Presentation of the draft document to the board of directors of SEAofAR on 5/31/07 - completed.
2. Review by board and vote by board to adopt the program as a draft to present to SEAofAR members at the next board meeting. 6/14/07 vote by e-mail – completed and passed.
3. Presentation to the members of SEAofAR at a meeting soon after adoption by the board. July 26^th SEAofAR meeting – in process.
4. Vote by the membership to adopt the draft guidelines approximately 1 month after the presentation to the membership. September 20 SEAofAR meeting
5. Members use the draft during a review and comment period of 4 months. Comments due by Dec 31, 2007
6. The Special Inspection Committee will collect and review comments during the review period.
7. The Special Inspection Committee will prepare a final document for presentation to the board based on the draft document and the comments. February 1
8. Vote by board to refer the guidelines to the membership for a vote. Mid February 2008
9. Vote by membership to adopt the guidelines. March SEAoAR meeting
10. Presentations to AIA, AGC, building officials, etc for acceptance of the guidelines. After approval and adoption by the membership
